Christelijk koor Jigdaljahu

Christelijk Koor Jigdaljahu is a diverse group of dedicated singers united by a shared passion for choral music. With musical excellence as our foundation, we seek to touch both one another and our audience through the rich message of sacred music. Together with leading musicians, we present a broad repertoire of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Our concerts are carefully structured, weaving together choral works, congregational singing, instrumental interludes, and spoken word into a meaningful and cohesive whole. We sing out of longing for God. Not as those who first seek Him, but as those who believe that He Himself seeks connection with us. The name Jigdaljahu is derived from the Hebrew word “יגדליהו” (Yigdal-Yahu) and can be translated as “May God be glorified” or “God shall be glorified.” This is the heart of who we are and the purpose of our music.
