Metteson

Metteson is a unique blend of pop anthems and theatricality, making waves both in Norway and internationally. His long-awaited debut album Look To A Star was released to critical acclaim in spring 2025, following a successful album tour that saw him headline the Opera House in Oslo, sell out Sentrum Scene twice, embark on an extensive European tour, and dominate the festival circuit. With shimmering, emotionally nuanced music that the Guardian describes as "kaleidoscopic pop" and i-D as "a gorgeous synth-pop symphony of devotion," Metteson quickly garnered attention from influential artists. In the summer of 2023, Christine & The Queens invited him to perform at her Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre in London, marking a significant milestone in his rising career. While often compared to the likes of Christine & The Queens and Perfume Genius, Metteson draws inspiration from a more personal place. His music is shaped by movies, books, and his own experiences, weaving poetic, otherworldly soundscapes from the everyday revelations and thoughts that shape his life.
