Radius is one of the trendiest German Funk & Soul bands. With one of the tightest horn sections in the country, they bring punchy keyboard sounds together with the twangy blues of the guitar. A mix of backbeats and funky basslines ensures their music hits straight to the heart—and the hips. Having supported Gregory Porter and performed at numerous festivals and clubs, this 7-piece band has built a name for itself with an irresistible and danceable blend of funk and soul. For their second album, Vly (2025), Radius secured the collaboration of singer Leonora. At just 23 years old, the German-Italian Leonora is one of the rising stars of the German funk-pop scene and a true standout talent. Her powerful voice and refreshing lightness are reminiscent of artists like Dua Lipa and Lizzo. With Leonora on board, Radius has assembled a perfectly tuned funk and soul machine capable of delivering an explosion of feel-good vibes and high-energy horn and guitar riffs on stage. Everything is dedicated to the groove, calling to mind influences like Stevie Wonder and Vulfpeck, or a mix of Bob Marley and Herbie Hancock.
