Biography & Metadata
Lexsil, born Alex Mosongo, is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, and record producer bringing a distinctive blend of Afrobeat, Afropop, and contemporary African sounds to audiences around the world. He rose to international attention with “Bounce,” featuring Otile Brown, a breakout record that topped Kenyan charts and gained traction across Europe, the UK, Australia, and the USA. The song went on to become one of the most-streamed Kenyan songs on Spotify. Now independent, Lexsil is entering a new chapter—creating music on his own terms while continuing to push Kenyan and African sounds to a global audience.
