Tonic Walter

Tonic Walter is an electronic music duo hailing from southern Germany, made up of longtime friends and creative partners Maximilian Nestmann and Marcel Vckov. After stints in Munich and Berlin, the two producers found their true creative spark back in their rural hometown of Altenstadt, nestled in the Bavarian countryside — proving that inspiration sometimes lives right where it all began. Friends since childhood, Max and Marcel, began making music together in a band before discovering their shared passion for electronic sound. As Tonic Walter, they blend melodic house, deep house, and techno, combining analog synths, live instruments, and organic drum grooves while preserving the raw energy of a live band. With over 150 million streams worldwide, Tonic Walter has built a strong reputation as a captivating live act, selling out headline shows in cities including London, Munich, Berlin, Zurich, Hamburg, Paris, Cologne, and Stuttgart. In 2025, the duo joined Tycho and Fritz Kalkbrenner as a support act on their full tours, further expanding their international reach. Their highly anticipated debut album It All Comes Together was released in September 2025, followed by a successful Europe-wide headline tour. Towards the end of the year, Tonic Walter increasingly took their live show beyond Europe — a direction that now defines their core focus for 2026, as they continue bringing their distinctive Tonic Walter live sound to audiences around the world.
