Ladi

Ladi's style of music is one of collaboration and innovation. The former Famous Exchange Guitarist and Vocalist has his own Alternative RnB & Pop sound in Igimeji, wrote captivating melodies behind revolutionary poetry in Group Nameless and continues to balance Instrumental guitar and hip hop with emotional lyricism in 808 Saints. All these projects have his unique creative character and imprint, and the impetus to blend and capture various styles is prioritized over acute perfection for this genre bending artist. Born and raised in Nigeria in the 90s, Ladi's musical journey truly began with Igimeji in the enchanting city of Kathmandu in 2018. Now, back in his hometown of DFW Texas, he is tirelessly devoted to his passion for crafting, recording, releasing and performing live music continuously with a broad depth of other local talent. With roots from church drumming dating back 20 years, John Mayer inspired guitar for 17, and 6 years of performing vocally as a singer and rapper, he collaborates like no other and creates sounds that cross over multiple styles. His works span across genres and artists, including notable local talents such as Chilldren of Indigo, Chloe Free Vibe, Chef Dee, Sin, Justin King, TeXX, TVTENDV, Rei Altru, La Bell, Moni Sings, Xavier Flowers, Kena, Katsuk, Loners Club, Shailaun, Tyra + Tiara and many more. The extensive list of artists with whom Ladi has worked is a testament to his versatility and dedication.
