Biography & Metadata
Olivero is one of these musical Prodigies who are just born with an indescribable talent. Already at the age of three, young Olivero would find all sorts of objects on which he would tap to the music of Louis Armstrong. His first ever drum set merely survived two days before he smashed it to pieces with his vast energy and at the age of five, he attended music lessons for cello, guitar, and drums. It was here that schoolteachers were infatuated by his talent, realising that this little boy was going to go a very special, successful, musical path. At only nine years he was already playing complex pieces by Bach on the cello in the conservatory in front of a sophisticated and astonished audience, followed by successful participations at various competitions and master classes. Yet it was his encounter with Paco de Lucia that pushed his primary focus on flamenco music, the genre he decided to study next to his studies for Jazz Improvisation. This was when his compositions were discovered by Duquende (longtime vocalist of the Paco de Lucía septet) then became the vocalist on his 2021 EP “Souvenir de Viena", that lead to Olivero’s first big success, gaining grand recognition in the flamenco world with hundreds of thousands of flamenco fans listening to his songs. The next step on his musical path is a collaboration with Cuban musician and producer Alain Pérez , with whom his is now releasing the salsa track “Juntando Amores”.
