“Neither happy nor sad, but melancholic with a big splash of hope” says Max Blomqvist (Silent Sonic Records) about The Goodnight Project's signature sound. Founded in 2019 by Nathaniel James Goldblatt (completely by accident), The Goodnight Project blends reverberating piano, ethereal guitars, subtle synths, and field/noise recordings to create sincere compositional & organic ambient music. Ok, switching to 1st person here... :) First off, I'm super glad you're reading this! I'm very grateful that you've taken an interest in my music and hope you'll stick around for a while and keep listening. To keep up with new releases, I recommend "following" my artist profile here on Spotify, as well as saving the playlist Golden Leaf Ambient // The Goodnight Project + Friends to your library :) It features basically my whole discography as well as music from some good friends and collaborators of mine. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Center of Attention, Memories of the Forgotten, Raphah, Kilometre Club, Harbor Rift , Philippe Deschamps, and more! I'm a child of the Southwest, with roots in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and currently residing just south of Austin, Texas. I love making this art - Thank you so much for being here and for supporting human-made music. Whether you listen intently or in the background, I hope the music makes your life a little bit better. - Nathaniel (@nathaniel.wav)
