Nikolai Tal

Nikolai Tal is reimagining songs from nostalgic movies and series. In 2022 and 2023 he was working on compositions from Joe Hisaishi. With great love to detail he is forging his sound that - although seemingly imperfect at first glance - is capturing the nostalgic element perfectly, which is all so present in the Studio Ghibli Movies. In his first Album Ghibli Lullabies his soft felted piano, layered with the touch of an old out of tune piano, immediately has set the tone for his coming works.
