Prunk

Prunk is a hard-working and prolific DJ/producer, yet his warm, summery house tracks always exude relaxed, carefree vibes. A mainstay of the Dutch club scene since the mid-2000s, the Amsterdam-based artist established PIV Records in 2015. He issued the EP What I Do with Bas Roos, as well as several tracks with regular collaborator Chris Stussy. Prunk's mini-album Journey was released in 2018, and Le Funk arrived in 2023. Shortening his moniker to just Prunk, he released EPs like Disluv and Make U Crazy before founding PIV Records in 2015. He issued several tracks with Chris Stussy on labels like Nervous and EWax, as well as the solo EP Sexy Brasil (2016). Journey appeared in 2018, followed by EPs like Bocado (with Aron Volta) and Through the Walls. Telling You the Truth, with Project89, was released in 2021. Prunk issued the full-length Le Funk in 2023. "Keep It Simple" with Rona Way appeared on Defected. "Groovebox," "Heat," and "The Game" all appeared in 2024.
