Fragments of Decay

Fragments of Decay is a forward-thinking metalcore/deathcore trio based in Prague, blending genre-defying ambition with uncompromising heaviness. Entirely independent and fully self-produced, the band delivers a sound that’s as precise as it is punishing, marked by guttural vocals, breakneck tempos, off-kilter rhythms, and crushingly low-tuned guitars. Their debut single Caged introduced a relentless sonic identity in September 2024. With the release of their debut EP Ruins of Silence in May 2025, they’ve expanded their palette even further, fusing metal with orchestral layers, cinematic synths, and elements pulled from trap, rap, techno, and beyond. Each track is meticulously crafted, balancing chaos and control while pushing the limits of modern heavy music. Young and already gaining momentum within the underground scene, Fragments of Decay represent a new generation of artists, unbound by genre, built from the ground up, and driven to reshape what extreme music can sound like.
