Renowned for turntablism and super-sharp productions, Krafty Kuts has built a reputation as one of the most consistent forces in bass music. From early releases with Ministry of Sound, Fabric and Finger Lickin’ to the foundation of his own Against The Grain label, and as founder of Brighton’s Supercharged, his career reads like a long-form study in British bass music culture. A selector as much as a technician, he digs deep and blurs the lines between genres with intent. His DJ sets are a genuine journey: one minute Santana, the next Sami Virji. It’s a never-ending drive to keep pushing the envelope. Now, with his new album Turbulence, Krafty Kuts pushes his music production further.
