The Reflex

Launched in 2010, THE REFLEX is a project from producer/DJ Nicolas Laugier, a French national based in the UK since 1998. Following on the footsteps of remix / DJ edit pioneers Larry Levan, Shep Pettibone, François Kevorkian or John Luongo, The Reflex somewhat redefined the remix rules book by using stems and multitracks to craft fresh, innovative versions (dubbed ’revisions’) from classics tracks and artists, genre-hopping through the decades and styles with ease, combining creativity and functionality with often spectacular results. With constant support from superstar DJs, tastemakers, A-list artists and creatives to high profile brands / events through to bedroom DJ’s, The Reflex revisions are now part of the musical landscape.
