Lora Thorne

Lora Thorne is a Nigerian singer-songwriter from Delta State, creating from a place where feeling leads and restraint shapes the form. Her sound moves with a calm sense of control—rooted in Afro-R&B, yet not confined to it—guided by instinct and a natural pull toward contrast. She works with a belief that instinct can be trusted, and that more than one truth can exist at once—holding both without needing to resolve them. There’s a calm to how she creates, with an edge that reveals itself over time—shaped by the balance between tension and ease. Where vulnerability meets strength, that is Lora Thorne.
