Cachita’s voice moves between singing and a captivating flow, navigating fragility and restraint in an intimate, unforced register. In her upcoming project the production draws from a traditional, deconstructed bachata base, blending guitars, swaying basslines, and syncopated percussion into a more contemporary aesthetic. Organic textures maintain a constant tension between softness and hardness. Conceived as a fragment of a larger story, Como Duele delivers a sensitive, frontal portrayal of emotional pain. Como Duele is the first single taken from Los Mapas presentan a Cachita, the debut EP by Geneva-based duo Los Mapas — a contemporary bachata project by Guatemalan-Swiss producer Bony Fly and Argentinian-Swiss multi-instrumentalist Alain Sandri. The track explores heartbreak and loss through direct, emotionally charged writing.
