Biography & Metadata

Glasgow-born DJ/producer Hayley Zalassi has spent the past few years carving out her place as one of the UK's most exciting underground house selectors. Her sets lean into deep, soulful grooves, driving rhythms and timeless records, shaped by the dancefloor culture she grew up in. Her journey into DJing started behind the bar at Glasgow's legendary Arches, where being immersed in the nightlife sparked the move from floor to booth. Since then, she’s become a regular across Scotland’s circuit, with appearances at Sub Club and The Berkeley Suite, alongside festival stages including TRNSMT and FLY Open Air. Her sound has since taken her far beyond with appearances across the UK and Europe including Phonox, The Warehouse Project, Amnesia and Pikes Ibiza. She has also featured on both Boiler Room and HÖR Berlin, alongside a run of international shows including Barcelona’s Off Sonar week with Josh Baker’s You&Me. She's shared line-ups with artists like Chris Stussy and Josh Baker, as well as established names including Kerri Chandler, Mr. G and Ricardo Villalobos. On the production side, she delivered a remix for Fatboy Slim and her releases continue to build steadily. Collaboration Strange Faces with Big Miz picked up strong DJ support and BBC Radio 1 play from Pete Tong, Sarah Story and Danny Howard. She later reworked a Beverley Knight vocal for Texting at Midnight, while her remix of W.O.W (Walk On Water) landed on New York's iconic Nervous Records.
