The Cornbread Boyz

Levi Dry and Joe Weed, known as The Cornbread Boyz, began collaborating in 2022 after Levi's return from prison. Levi, nephew of Grand Ole Opry steel guitar legend Jimmy Dry, is a Contemporary Country artist from East Texas. He’s worked with Rosewood Studios (LeeAnn Rimes, Tracy Byrd) and platinum producer Orlando Williams. He won ETX Artist of the Year in 2016 and was nominated at the Waco Awards in 2022 and 2023. Joe Weed came up in Texas rap, collaborating with artists like Lil Flip, Lil Keke, and Swisha House affiliates. In 2019, he pivoted with Smoke, Drank, Rock & Roll and later dropped Red Dirt in 2021. Their first collab came with the Red Dirt Remix, followed by Bonfire and Redneck Singles on Levi’s Southerfried album. In 2023, they officially formed The Cornbread Boyz with guitarist Garrett Kirk, releasing a self-titled album. Their single Take Me Home ft. Y.T. Amaya hit #20 on the UK iTunes Country Chart. With millions of streams, they’ve worked with Bubba Sparxxx, Will Lean, GT Garza, and more. Their music has also been slowed & chopped by DJ Red of Screwed Up Records. With new singles throughout 2025, a fresh album is on the horizon.
