Roberto

Roberto is a rapper, producer, and multi-disciplinary artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio. His music draws on his roots in both Ohio and Texas, blending Southern influences with the gritty honesty of Midwestern hip hop. Roberto’s sound is defined by introspective lyrics, inventive production, and a willingness to explore multiple artistic mediums. He collaborates frequently with local artists in Cincinnati, including Jay Hill, Swooty Mac, and Jaybee Lamahj. Beyond music, Roberto has also been active as an educator, audio engineer, designer, and creative all-around. His artistic practice reflects a belief in creativity as therapy and self‐expression and he often pushes himself into new forms, teaching himself new skills and broadening his reach beyond just rapping. His discography includes several EPs, singles, and collaborative efforts, many of which emphasize connection to his community, to his past in Texas and Ohio, and to the people he grew up with. As of recent projects, he’s focused on making each release more meaningful, rather than simply increasing output. Roberto continues to perform locally, produce for others, and build his artistic identity.
