Emiliano Messiez

Emiliano Messiez is a Latin Grammy–nominated pianist, composer, and music director from Argentina, now based in New York City. Trained in classical music, jazz, tango, rock, and Latin American rhythms, he has performed around the world at renowned venues including Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Houston Grand Opera, and as part of the Carnegie Hall Citywide concert series. Known for his versatile and distinctive sound, Emiliano is the founder and director of the tango orchestra Típica Messiez and a member of the Romo-Agri-Messiez Trio. He has shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Ute Lemper, Paquito D’Rivera, John Patitucci, and Concha Buika, among others. As a composer and orchestrator, Emiliano has written music for multiple musicals and theatrical productions, blending tango traditions with contemporary influences and cinematic storytelling.
