Alt/Prog band Stolen From The Sky makes heavy, articulate music that defies convention and focuses on art and individuality. Based in Birmingham, UK, the group is the passion project of multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter Adam Strazzanti, who writes, performs, and records almost every note he puts out himself. Strazzanti is inspired by crucial talents like Queens of the Stone Age, TOOL, King Crimson, Soundgarden, and Neurosis, as well as more modern artists such as Strawberry Girls, Giraffes? Giraffes!, and Cloudkicker - but never sounds like anything but himself. He’s a self-supporting artist who stays true to his own vision and steers clear of commercial corruption. This is what allows him to write without compromise or committee. The result is truly original music that stands tall in the global music scene. Strazzanti has been pursuing music for over 20 years but Stolen From The Sky is the first time he’s been able to fully express his own ideas, whatever they might be. Stolen From The Sky is niche rock for serious fans looking for something beyond the mainstream. It’s a studio band right now, which lets Strazzanti use all of his creativity without worrying about reproducing the songs live. Listeners looking for grit, smarts, and identity need to discover Stolen From The Sky at once and meet their new favorite band.
