Biography & Metadata

Joyner Lucas is a two-time, Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist, entertainer, actor and entrepreneur. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has released several platinum and gold projects and singles, such as “ISIS,” “I’m Not Racist,” “Ramen & OJ,” “ADHD,” and “Your Heart,” among others. He would make an indelible imprint on the music industry in 2017 with the release of his transcendent single, “I’m Not Racist,” which touched on race relations in America and resulted in his first-career Grammy nomination for “Best Music Video.” That same year, Lucas also earned a separate Grammy nomination for “Best Rap Song” for his collaborative effort with Eminem on “Lucky You.” Joyner maintained that momentum en route to releasing his long-awaited, debut studio album, ADHD, in March 2020. The project debuted in the Top-10 of the Billboard 200, earned RIAA gold certification, sparked a much-needed conversation about mental health and established a new template for success that independent artists could follow. He released his sophomore studio album – Not Now I’m Busy – in March 2024.
