Biography & Metadata

Corey Baker, professionally known as Kill Paris, is a multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer known for a sound that blends heavy bass, funk, melody, and unmistakable keytar work. Raised in a small town in Indiana, Corey’s path into electronic music began as both an artist and a teacher. He became an Ableton Certified Trainer, giving one-on-one production lessons and leading seminars while developing the sound that would become Kill Paris. After moving to Los Angeles, he broke through in 2012 with the support of Skrillex and OWSLA, quickly earning a devoted following for music that felt playful, technical, soulful, and entirely his own. Since then, Kill Paris has built a colorful world shaped by video games, comic books, nature, and Corey’s instinct for turning intricate production into something warm and human. His musicianship, sense of humor, and genuine connection with fans that has given the project its staying power. His sophomore album, Galaxies Within Us, was released through Monstercat in 2019, followed by the independently released House With a Pool EP in 2020. After years of experimentation, Corey is now returning to the bass-heavy, glitchy, funk-driven sound that first defined Kill Paris — reconnecting with the musical identity longtime fans never stopped asking for.
