Black Domino

Black Domino is a Belgian duo exploring the space between electronic pop and synth pop since 2008. Initially influenced by house music, they reshaped their identity in 2019 with vintage analog synths, flashes of guitar, driving rhythms and vocal melodies that feel both timeless and modern. This evolution led to key collaborations including “Serious” with Albin Loán and “Fall in love” with Shawn Clover, a nostalgic ballad that has become a fan favorite. With more than 2.4 million streams and a steady audience of over 20 000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Black Domino continues to establish its presence on the independent scene. Their catalogue mixes vocal driven tracks and instrumentals such as “When I fall”, “Roadster Infinity” and “Whispered Lies”, all marked by an atmospheric yet melodic signature. Their music has also gained radio support in Belgium and abroad, with airplay on key national radio outlets including Nostalgie Wallonie, Fun Radio Belgium, and Maximum FM. Recent releases underline their versatility, blending darker pop/R&B textures with cinematic synth-driven arrangements (“Holding on” featuring Jaime Deraz). As their sound evolved, Mark & Steve, the two Belgian songwriters/producers who have shaped Black Domino since the beginning, extended the project into a visual universe of its own: two fictional masked characters born from the same cinematic, dark-tinted world as the music itself, a way to give the songs a face without giving away the mystery.
