K2T

K2T is the alias of UK producer/DJ Karan Ponnuthurai. Best known for drum & bass, his catalogue also reaches into garage, hip hop, and house, reflecting a love of creating across different styles. Through his label Detached Audio, he has built a platform for the full spectrum of Drum & Bass, giving space to emerging talents while continuing to develop his own sound. His releases have appeared on Liquicity, Interstellar Audio, Offworld Recordings, Drum Army, Beats In Mind, and more, with support from artists including Fred V, Monrroe, Telomic, Nelver, and many others across the globe. 2025 marked a big step forward when K2T began performing live. Starting with a debut in Nottingham, he soon played in London which then led to him going on a Scandinavian tour with headline gigs in Sweden and Denmark. Beyond releases and gigs, K2T connects with listeners directly through Twitch and YouTube, where he produces live, experiments with new ideas, and lets the creative process unfold in real time. At the core of his work is the same thing that started it all: making music for the enjoyment of it, and sharing that journey with anyone who wants to listen.
