Shxxn

Shxxn is a producer, musician and mixing and mastering engineer from London, UK, with over 15 years in music. His sound draws on Punjabi folk and UK bhangra alongside hip-hop, R&B and pop, combining live instruments with heavy drums and a recognisable feel for melody and rhythm. His credits include Himmat Sandhu, Ranjit Bawa, Jazzy B, Mani Longia, Nirvair Pannu, Parmish Verma, Jenny Johal, Miss Pooja and more. He has become a sought-after collaborator for traditional Punjabi records with the sound and finish to reach audiences worldwide. A musician first, he moved into production before taking on mixing and mastering, developing his sound at every stage. He still records his own instruments and percussion, with that hands-on approach carrying through to the final master. Whether it’s a full folk arrangement or a stripped-back hip-hop record, there’s the same attention to the groove, the vocal and getting the music to hit properly.
