Vinsint

Vinsint is a Winnipeg-born and Toronto-based indie R&B artist who's been innovatively growing his music experience throughout the past ten years. He's focused on creating timeless music, sourcing musical inspiration from the likes of Prince, The Weeknd, Hans Zimmer, and Takanashi Yasuharu. Vinsint categorizes his style of music as what he describes to be Tropical Melancholy (sad afrobeats), Darkfunk (funk with Toronto-esque dark chords), and Cinematic R&B. 
 It doesn't take much for Vinsint to find inspiration to make music. Film, hot showers, eating donuts, and backseat daydreaming usually do the trick. His inspiration originates simply from current events and situations of the planet and people. After all, it's a musician's duty to journalize the world's joys and sorrows - both melodically and visually. Vinsint brings forth a vision that's playful, elegant, historic, and deep all in one breath. He keeps his sounds deeply tied to his philosophy of life, and his message knows no boundaries.
