Carl Mörner Ringström

Even though the Stockholm based guitarist has been very honest musically on his previous releases, CMR's new release is about as honest and transparent as it gets. Singing/screaming his heart out off of imaginary Southern California rooftops on On Matters Of: "The One(s) That Got Away" And The Subsequent Downfall Of Our Antihero adds a new and welcome dimension to the honesty. 
 Carl Mörner Ringström is a freelance musician, currently residing in Stockholm with previous stints in Copenhagen and New York. Graduated Candidatus Musicae from Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and has played on numerous big stages around the world. Has three albums to his name and numerous appearances on recordings as a sideman. Had a long ongoing partnership playing, writing and producing with Malene Mortensen. Other notable collaborations include Henrik Linder of Dirty Loops fame, Marius Neset, Louis Cole, Virgil Donati, Gergo Borlai, David Binney, Wayne Krantz, Sidsel Storm, Snorre Kirk and Vivian Buczek. A nominee for the BMW World Jazz Award 2015.
