Isolde Lasoen

As a drummer, singer, vibraphonist, composer, author, and driving force of her solo project, Isolde Lasoen is as a real DIY artist. Her style can be described as poppy, cinematic, eclectic, retrofuturist, melancholic and rich. Characteristic are her drums, seductive voice, impressive arrangements and beautiful instrumentals. All ingredients that Isolde herself loves in the music that has inspired her for a lifetime, such as iconic and obscure soundtracks, jazz classics, '60s and '70s psychedelia, french touch, orchestral pop or bombastic classical music. As a jazzdrummer, she’s influenced by a lot of artists, going from big band music, hardbop to David Axelrod, François De Roubaix, John Barry, Morricone, french 70’s stuff, Goldfrapp and Serge Gainsbourg.
