Cirom

For Cirom, making music has always been a personal form of expression. He started DJing in 1986 and grew up during a time when electronic music was still evolving, discovering its sound and identity in real time. Based in Frankfurt, the city’s club scene of the early 1990s became a defining influence. Cirom experienced that movement from within – the energy, experimentation, people and feeling that something completely new was happening left a lasting mark on his musical identity. His first release came in 1998 on the legendary Planet Rhythm label. In 2000, he founded Defcon Records and PEON Music, creating platforms for his own productions and releases. Today, Cirom focuses on Deep House, Hypnotic House and groove-driven electronic music, with current releases appearing on Defcon Records. His other active projects explore different territories: Digital Indio focuses on Dub Techno, while Chiphead represents Raw and Hypnotic Techno, with releases connected to PEON Music. For Cirom, music is not about following a trend. It is about capturing a feeling and turning it into sound.
