Born in Naples in the early ’90s, CARLEO has developed a distinctive sound shaped by curiosity and a personal approach to electronic music. Drawing inspiration from Trip Hop, Post-Rock and the deeper shades of House, his music brings together different influences without being tied to a fixed genre. His recent releases on labels such as Amaeo, Frau Blau, Marginalia and Surrrealism have further defined his musical identity, earning support from leading artists across stages including DGTL, Fusion and Tomorrowland, as well as on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix. Behind the decks, he has shared the booth with artists including &ME, Âme, Tiga and Trikk, among others. Moving between hypnotic grooves, unexpected rhythms and more evocative moments, CARLEO’s productions and DJ sets balance character and spontaneity with a natural sense of movement. Rather than following a fixed formula, his music is driven by instinct, exploration and a constant search for something that feels both personal and immediate.
