Royce Wood Junior

The house of two black dogs One dog is cute and present if a little bored The other pokes on dots that bleed and pool together One dog’s face is on the floor, aware of sounds The other sets in like two hard smokes mixing and fighting One dog wanders about and sees what’s up in other rooms in case of anything The other gurgles like the scummy top of a tired northern canal One dog likes bare human feet and saves its eye bogeys for later The other churns a bitty cement of tar and swan feathers One dog needs to be incentivised to finish off her dinner The other gets stuck like a thousand black jacks
