Serge Funk

Serge Funk (real name Sergio Sturari) is a prominent Italian musician, composer, producer, and DJ hailing from Ancona, Italy. Recognized as a "wonderkid" of the modern disco-house scene, he has built a reputation for crafting dancefloor-ready tracks that blend classic-style samples with polished, modern production. Funk's sound is characterized by deep, driving basslines, funky guitar riffs, and high-energy funky house grooves. His work frequently tops specialized dance music charts like Traxsource and Beatport, where he is often listed as one of the most successful artists in the disco-house genre. Much of his discography is released through Groove Culture Music, the label run by Italian veterans Micky More & Andy Tee. Funk has also collaborated with artists such as Danny Losito on "Lost Without You" and Tracy Hamlin on "Loving Life". His tracks have garnered DJ support from global icons like Mousse T, The Shapeshifters, Danny Krivit, Folamour and many others.
