Overgivelse

Born and raised in Rome with Italian-Russian roots, Overgivelse is a dj-producer and founder of MONOLOCO. Formerly part of the Toy Tonics crew, she has then performed solo in Paris, London, Berlin and Ibiza, with festival appearances and multiple Defected dates. She has shared lineups with Claptone, Guy Gerber, Carl Cox, Âme, Andrea Oliva, Reboot and Riva Starr, and released music on CamelPhat’s When Stars Align and KIRIK’s Memory Remains. Her deep musical knowledge spans classical, jazz, funk and soul through to industrial techno and emerging sounds. Trained in ballet and flute, she was discovering Italy’s leading clubs at 14, mixing records at 15 and playing afterhours at 18. A serious accident forced a years-long pause but was not an ending. After travels through London, Dubai and Luxembourg, she returned with a disco-funk spirit and vinyl woven into her sets. During the pandemic, she founded MONOLOCO, a Roman collective that has travelled across Europe and grown into a record label. Through every chapter, music has remained her way of finding freedom, rebel and coming back to herself.
