SCHANZ

Musically, I would most likely describe my music as alternative rock / gothic rock, even if there is always a good portion of (post-) punk or dark wave. The songs are created depending on the mood, through ideas / melodies that are fixed in my head. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes angry, hopeless, ironic - sometimes dreamy or in a good mood. Influences In my youth and to this day I was influenced by bands like New Model Army (to this day my absolute favourite band), Love Like Blood, The Mission and yes of course, The Cure. Neil Young, Hüsker Dü are among them, as well as Covenant, Hollywood Undead, Tiamat, Type O Negative, etc. But since I also find and listen to acts like Lady Gaga pretty cool, there is of course not the "one" influence on my own music. Rather, it is the melodies of the songs and the sound of the voices that I find a song or artist good.
