Biography & Metadata

Tuuh, 33, is a Brazilian artist with over a decade of experience in the music industry. He began his career in 2009 as the lead singer of Sugoi, performing comedic, high-energy songs inspired by acts like Mamonas Assassinas at anime conventions across Brazil. The band achieved significant popularity before ending its activities around 2014. He then co-founded the prog-metal project Velvet Moonlight with his older brother, releasing a full-length album featuring 10 tracks marked by powerful vocals and heavy guitar work. Seeking to refine his craft, Tuuh studied music at EM&T in São Paulo under Paula Caju, while also independently developing skills in recording, production, mixing, and mastering. In 2016, he teamed up with Cardris to form Nordex, an anime music duo that has grown into a global success, reaching over 600,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. He is also the founder of Arcadia Studio, a creative hub dedicated to producing and developing music and artistic projects. His career has also taken him to Japan, where he performed on Fuji TV, expanding his international presence. Tuuh is fluent in Portuguese, English, and intermediary Japanese, allowing him to connect with a broad audience worldwide. He has been recognized with two awards for Best Geek Music Project, highlighting his impact in the genre. In addition to his main work, he explores a futuristic, cyberpunk-inspired sound through his alternate project, Tutz, blending future funk and pop influences.
