HOSTAGE fuse modern Metalcore, Post-Hardcore and Nu-Metal influences into a sound that is both brutal and atmospheric. With lyrics diving deep into mental health, anger, isolation and self-discovery, HOSTAGE create a space where pain turns into collective catharsis. Their debut album MEMENTO MORI (Warner/ADA), featuring Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay), Henning Wehland (H-Blockx) and Marius Wedler (Alleviate), has surpassed 4.5M streams. It was followed by a Deluxe Edition, a Live at Wacken Open Air 2023 album, and successful covers including Enemy (feat. ifa) and Don't Let Me Down with over 3M streams. HOSTAGE quickly established themselves as one of the most promising new forces in German Metalcore. Festival appearances at Wacken Open Air, Vainstream Rockfest and more underlined their reputation for intense, emotional live shows and built a steadily growing fanbase across Europe and North America. Now, a new era begins. Chapter one of the journey — The Search — is out now.
