Biography & Metadata
Jeffrey Jey, Maury Lobina, and Gabry Ponte met at Bliss Corporation Studios in Turin, giving birth in 1998 to the Eiffel 65 project. Their debut with BLUE (DA BA DEE) is a worldwide success that paved the way for the album Europop, featuring hits like MOVE YOUR BODY and TOO MUCH OF HEAVEN. With the album CONTACT! (2001) and collaborations with Franco Battiato on “80’S STARS the trio cemented their international fame, selling over 15 million records and earning platinum and gold certifications in 38 countries. In 2000, they won the World Music Award and received a Grammy nomination. In 2002, they made their Italian debut with COSA RESTERÀ and took part in Sanremo 2003 with QUELLI CHE NON HANNO ETÀ both included in the album EIFFEL65. After a break and Gabry Ponte’s departure the project resumed in 2010 with a world tour that marked their return to live performances. In 2022 they released I’M GOOD with David Guetta and Bebe Rexha, and HEAVEN with Boomdabash. This followed by nominations at the 2023 SIAE Music Awards, Sanremo 2024 with Fred De Palma and the single BESTIALE with Loredana Bertè. In April 2025 they released FARE A MENO DI TE with Guè, a reimagining of their classic VIAGGIA INSIEME A ME and in May, they received two lifetime achievement awards at the Dance Music Awards. With a mix of nostalgia and innovation Eiffel 65 continue to be one of the most recognizable and beloved bands in the world capable of adapting to new sounds without losing their identity
