After years away from the scene, the most mysterious masked producer from Italy has returned with a new look and a new, even more ferocious sound. After releasing music under the moniker Hlfmn since 2014, this new electronic project by the Italian producer and composer delve into the fog of ancient viking tales, norse mythology and the allure of the dark ages. His debut Album MASTERY is a 20 tracks-96 minutes mammoth collection of tunes which started taking shape almost 6 years ago : a journey rich in electro-metal influences, pagan music, and sonic shamanism; the heavy use of medieval instruments such as the tagelharpa, hurdy-gurdy, frame drums and Gregorian chants gives his music a ritualistic and ancient flavor, while heavy industrial beats and massive downtuned guitar riffs bring mind and body back to the present moment in a constant dialogue between very different eras.
