Markell2timez

Malachi Khalil, professionally known as Markell2Timez, is an emerging hip-hop artist from Pontiac, Michigan, whose music is shaped by a unique perspective on both sides of life. Growing up between different environments, from challenging neighborhoods to more comfortable family settings, 2Timez developed an ability to understand people from different backgrounds. That perspective has become a foundation for his storytelling, allowing him to create music that feels personal, honest, and observant. A self-described “popular loner,” 2Timez found his strongest connections through family, spending much of his youth with his cousins and brother while exploring music, gaming, and different interests. Raised by a divorced single mother and supported by his grandparents, he learned early to rely on himself, turning mistakes and experiences into lessons that continue to shape his artistry. His sound is highly expressive and passionate, with an animated delivery that makes every emotion feel intentional. Blending melodic trap with elements of hip-hop, emo rock, and alternative influences, 2Timez draws inspiration from artists such as Kanye West, Tyler, The Creator, Rod Wave, Mac Miller, and Wifiskeleton. Whether the record carries pain, anger, reflection, or high energy, authenticity remains at its core.
