kees.

Max Rivkees, performing as kees., is a Los Angeles based producer and singer-songwriter whose somber and rustic delivery sets a nostalgic tone of yearning and introspective feelings. Inspired by a journalistic approach, his songs are a lens into his world of internal commentary. As a self taught musician, his work creates its own space that is difficult to categorize yet familiar. Having released music since 2019, kees. has a close relationship between himself and his work to ensure it is refined. In 2021, kees., signed his first distribution deal with then EQ Distribution (now ROC Nation Distribution) to release his first album, letting go of holding back. Released in early 2022, his single, s.f.w.i.s. gained popularity for its vulnerable and stripped back approach. Combining dark tones and airy vocals, the track resonated with listeners across the world. Piggybacking on that tracks success, the direction for his latest project Lebec takes inspiration from s.f.w.i.s. Reverberating Americana thru somber tracks, Lebec is a cathartic work that carries the weight of heartbreak, lust, passion and love. Set to release in early 2025, kees. has a clear trajectory and message to share.
