Biography & Metadata

Both as a solo artist and a member of Shoreline Mafia, Fenix Flexin has built a reputation for delivering sleek, hard-hitting records that waste no time asserting their dominance. After stepping away from the group in 2020, he quickly carved out a successful solo run with breakout releases like “10 Toes” and projects including Back Flexin. Most recently, he’s taken over the internet with his viral new single “RUBBERZ,” an unexpected disco-inspired anthem that has exploded across TikTok and socials, generating millions of views and hundreds of user creates while showcasing a completely different side of his artistry and expanding his audience far beyond traditional West Coast rap. Born Fenix Rypinski in Los Angeles, California, Fenix began rapping as a teenager before forming Shoreline Mafia in 2016 alongside OhGeesy, Rob Vicious, and Master Kato. The group rapidly rose to worldwide acclaim, becoming one of the defining acts of the modern LA rap scene. Following the group’s split in 2020, Fenix launched his solo career with the breakout single “10 Toes,” which amassed millions of streams shortly after release. He continued building momentum through his Fenix Flexin mixtape series before dropping his 2024 project Back Flexin. That same year, he reunited Shoreline Mafia in a new duo form with OhGeesy for the release of “HEAT STICK,” which is now certified Gold by the RIAA and reaffirmed the group’s lasting influence on hip-hop culture.
