My main aim with my piano music is to create something beautiful and Im increasingly conscious of a sense of compassionate care coming through as well. Music has been a huge source of healing, joy and meaning throughout my life and the more I go deeper into my spiritual practice (I'm a Buddhist), the more I feel that these two parts of my life are intertwined. Musically, I get inspiration from both the classical, modern classical and ambient genres, particularly the pioneers of minimalist solo piano and neoclassical, ranging from the cinematic melodies of Ludovico Einaudi to the pianistic invention of Nils Frahm and the bittersweet emotional soundscapes of Ólafur Arnalds. I also make piano music as MettaForm for the gentler side of soft, soothing piano and neoclassical ambient music as Subhavani, blending electronica with orchestral soundtrack and soft piano. In the past I've also released an album of songs and I've also written several pieces of Buddhist Choral Music. I hope that if you do have a chance to listen, I'll be very happy if my music brings even a small part of the comfort, ease and joy that music has so often brought to me.
