Brand new artist page! After composing piano-based modern classical / neoclassical music for over a decade, I’m truly excited to launch this new project. I started writing these instrumentals to wind down, organise my thoughts, and to bring life into what I heard and felt somebody else should hear too. Moving from Lennep to Düsseldorf, Germany, I pursued my dream of becoming a modern classical composer, and studied at the Robert Schumann Hochschule for five years. At this time, I developed an interest in the colorful world of 19th- and 20th-century composers such as Felix Mendelssohn, Claude Debussy, and Max Reger. Now being a student at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, I live in Limerick and learn not just an appreciation of local music traditions, but also shift my attention to the underlying mechanisms and benefits of music making. Besides this, I draw a lot of inspiration from the creativity of Progressive Rock and the sanity of calmer Indie Folk. Neoclassical artists that inspire me a lot because of the peace they convey are Patrik Berg Almkvisth, and Jakob Ahlbom. If you listen closely, you might hear some of these influences in my work.
