Lucid Call

If you think this isn’t a dream, think again. Lucid Call is the project of Greek composer, producer and filmmaker Vagelis Katsantonis, blending melodic techno, progressive house and cinematic electronica. Launched in 2025, Lucid Call’s debut album Samsara has surpassed 1 million Spotify streams. Its sound moves through hypnotic basslines, evolving arpeggios and analog textures, shaped by themes of existence, awakening and transformation. Through music and self-directed film, Lucid Call explores the beauty of ephemeral uniqueness, the terror of impermanence and the permanence that follows — the strange coexistence of loneliness and fulfillment, and the things that resist explanation but remain deeply felt. Trained in piano from the age of four and composing by seven, Vagelis grew up shaped by Queen, Depeche Mode and Dead Can Dance, alongside the cinema of Spielberg, Coppola and Scorsese. An architect by training, he holds a BA in Architecture and an MSc in Virtual Reality from University College London. Away from music, he is co-founder, CEO and Creative Director of the award-winning app company Avokiddo. Lucid Call is currently working toward a second album.
