Hey I'm KahWah, a multi-instrumentalist living in Kansas City, making music that sits somewhere between a quiet afternoon and a late-night headphone session. I fell in love with the music at the age of 11 when I picked up piano and learned that you could play a song on the radio on an instrument like piano. I was literally blown away and knew immediately this is what I wanted to do. I picked up other instruments over the years such as keyboard, guitar, bass, and ukulele. The ukulele has become my most loved instrument and part of why I play it is to show others how versatile it is and should be seen as a real instrument on the same level as others such as guitar. It also sounds like no other instrument, with a unique tone and character. I've spent years finding ways to weave it into lofi and chill beats without it feeling out of place.
