Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus is a left-handed guitar player, singer, songwriter, actor and philanthropist from Flatwoods, Kentucky. Raised in a musical background ranging from Southern Gospel four-part harmonies to Southern Rock with full-on smokin’ guitars and honky-tonk piano. Cyrus’s roots run deep in his Appalachian upbringing of Bluegrass, Country, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rhythm and Blues, and all genres of music. This multitude of mastering and bending genres is exemplified by Cyrus’s Grammy, CMA, BET, VMA, Billboard and American Music Awards. 
 Cyrus’s musical mantra is two fold. 1. “Music changes everything.” 2. When it comes to creating; “Don’t try to make music that fits inside the box, don’t try to make music that fits outside the box… make it like there is no box.” 
 The multi Grammy award winning artist says, “Music is my motivation. Life is my inspiration. I bought a guitar and started a band for that reason.
