Biography & Metadata

Booking Contact: Kai@ntrlagency.com GHEIST exists outside fixed formats, not as a band, not as a solo project, but as a continuously refined approach to electronic music. Originally formed as a collective, GHEIST was conceived as something deliberately elusive, a hybrid of Ghost and Geist, drawing from both English and German language and meaning: presence without a fixed form, emotion without clear attribution. The early identity was blurred on purpose, allowing the project to exist as an atmosphere rather than a personality - a space to explore, refine, and intuitively trace its own language of sound. Over time, this openness became its strength, a way to listen closely, to filter deliberately, and to let direction emerge without forcing definition. GHEIST is shaped through decision rather than display, guided by taste, restraint, and a clear sense of direction. Musically, GHEIST moves between emotional depth and club-ready clarity, melancholic, spacious, and cinematic in tone. The music does not demand attention; it creates space for it. Voices, influences, and collaborations appear and dissolve again, guided by the same underlying direction, without ever defining it. Both live and in the studio, GHEIST stands for curated intensity instead of overload - music that resonates quietly, and stays.
