Operating from the Scottish-English border, FADED have spent the last few years carving out their own corner of the alternative landscape — somewhere between left-field pop, electronic groove, Balearic haze and classic songcraft. Faded has found airplay across BBC 6 Music, BBC Scotland, BBC Introducing, RTÉ, Amazing Radio UK/USA and beyond, establishing FADED as a quietly distinctive voice beyond the usual indie borders. The fourth FADED album Electrique flips the mood entirely. Warm, expansive and Balearic-leaning, it trades the shadows for electronic sunshine, rhythmic ease and a sense of hard-won optimism. An immersive and joyful listen, Electrique finds FADED sounding more confident and expansive than before. Sep 11th sees the release of Was I Ever Here?
