“It’s funny how twenty years of practice can come together in a three hour show”. ~ Dave Here’s the thing, Grateful Dave has found a way to channel the elusive vibe of The Grateful Dead, Phish and Pink Floyd with effortlessly airy vocals and spot on guitar work. His mellow vibe and atmosphere are infused with a gentle spirit, warmth and of course tasty classic songs that form the core of Grateful Dave’s shows. Dave tours nationally and loves intimate gigs near his home down the Jersey Shore. Since hitting the local scene in 2024 Grateful Dave has put everything into live performance and mastering his craft. After bursting onto the local music scene with intimate acoustic and raucous electric shows Dave released his debut album “Grateful Dave” featuring a mix of soulful rock and homesick tinged badlands. Stand out tracks “Judy”, “In the Groove” and “Click and Clack” feature Dave’s trademark wit and swagger. “Yeah, those ones were recorded quickly, especially Judy which was a first take and In the Groove the band played live together in the studio.” Dave is a troubadour and band leader bringing people together for the love of music. “It means a lot to share music with people, I’d still make music if I was stranded on a deserted island but the shared experience of a gig is the thing.” In a world of copycat and lookalike cover bands Grateful Dave is a fresh spark we want more than ever!
