Dwson (pronounced Daw-son) is a two-time award-winning artist, SAMA-nominated remixer, producer, and DJ who has carved out a beloved place in South Africa’s deep house culture. The Capetonian producer & DJ is one of the most sought- after electronic artists in South Africa at the moment. Effortlessly breathing new life into the local deep house scene with his  dubbed-out sound, Dwson sets a clear vision, with diverse and refreshingly distinct ways that refuse to be tied to one style of house. Thus far he has taken stages at major events such as, opening for Keinemusik, Kaytranada, Black Coffee & consecutive Cape Town Electronic Music Festivals, Oppikoppi, RedBull Music Academy, ULTRA, Rocking the Daisies, Synergy and Design Indaba to name but a few ,proving his ability to command any crowd, anywhere. Growing up in a home filled with jazz and house influences, thanks to his father’s love for legends like Four Play, Dwson’s journey into house music was inevitable.
